Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: September 29, 2026

At SLP Tax Service, we are committed to providing professional, accurate, and compliant tax and related financial services. Please review this policy carefully before making a payment.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Due to the professional and service-based nature of our business, all payments are nonrefundable. SLP Tax Service does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds once payment has been made, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Tax Preparation & Professional Services

Fees paid for tax preparation, amendments, prior-year returns, consultations, document review, research, administrative work, and other professional services are nonrefundable.

Payment for tax preparation or related services does not guarantee a particular refund amount, tax credit, tax outcome, or acceptance of a return by the IRS or any state taxing authority.

Consultation Fees

Consultation and intake fees are nonrefundable. When specifically stated as part of the service purchased, a consultation fee may be credited toward the client's final service fee if the client proceeds with services.

Client Cancellations

If a client chooses to cancel or discontinue services after payment, fees already paid are nonrefundable. This includes situations in which work has begun, documents have been reviewed, research has been performed, or professional time has been reserved.

Duplicate or Erroneous Payments

If you believe you were charged more than once or a payment was processed in error, please contact us promptly. Verified billing errors will be reviewed and corrected as appropriate.

Payment Plans & Third-Party Financing

When installment payments or third-party payment services are available, the client's agreement with the payment provider may be subject to additional terms. Using a payment plan does not change SLP Tax Service's refund and cancellation policy.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact SLP Tax Service directly regarding billing concerns before initiating a payment dispute. We will review legitimate billing errors and concerns in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
